   I always said to my roommates that I can only remember eating. I also like to eat. So, I decided to take a picture of the cafeteria. The cafeteria is the only place we can eat food freely. We got caught if we take food to our room. So, the time we go to cafeteria is really happy. Also, we can buy snacks. It's only beverages, but it's good to eat snacks. From now on, I will introduce you to the fantastic world of the "cafeteria!" with seven pictures I took.

  This is the picture of the huge kitchen. Many delicious foods are from this big kitchen. You can see "Staff only" it's because when anyone who is not clean goes into the kitchen, cooks can't make food clean. The people in the cafeteria are offered to be hygiene. If this huge kitchen did not exist, we could never eat these kinds of delicious things. So, when you are done with your meal, it's good to say "Thank you for a delicious meal!" loudly to this big kitchen.

   This picture is our cafeteria. You can see many tables and chairs. I took a picture after meal time. So, it's clean and calm. However, during meal time it's crowed, and you can't even imagine how crowd the cafeteria is. Especially, when they hear about a delicious menu, all of the students are not just running, they are rushing to the cafeteria. When you see this picture, what do you think about the seating? We can just sit with you roommates or other friends. This is a picture of our roommates eating happily. However, be careful. In the cafeteria there are many PAs who are trying to catch EOP. I already got caught while I was chatting with my friend.

   Why am I taking this picture of the cafeteria? Can you think of any possible answers why I took this picture? For the people who don't know, I'll explain. It's because you have to wash  your hands before your meal! I guess some will be very surprised, because they don't wash their hands before their meal. I think you learned about this when you were in elementary school. However, I think there are quite a low people who don't know. So I will emphasize again. Please wash your hands before your meal!!

     

               
  Don't you wonder how can we receive food? We can receive whatever food you like. It means that it's free to receive food however much you want to eat. So, you have the responsibility to eat all of your food. From this food system, I began to think about the value of food. There is also a fruit section to pick. Usually, watermelon, melon, kiwi, peach, and bananas come out with our lunch and dinner, but not in breakfast. I like this kind of food system, because I feel my opinion is being respected.

  After your meal, where do you throw away your leftovers? Just leave them on the table? You can throw them away where you can see in the picture. But both you trash and your leftovers do not go in one basket. You have to separate them. There are cans, general trash, only food,k and cups. After you separate your leftovers, put your empty dish on the trail,and say "thank you!" to women in there, and it will be the best meal ever.

  If you are done with your meal, and if you have a lot of money, you can go to the vending machine! Don't worry if you only have 10,000 won. You can go and change it to 500 won of 1000 won, whatever you want. You can see many beverages in picture, but actually the kind of beverages are not various. There are only 4. However, half of the beverages were all sold out. You have to have good timing, the day that beverages are coming in.

  Also in the cafeteria, we eat snacks at night. Our snack is always bread and milk. This is the place where the bread is made. I heard that the the baker wants to try new things, so there are delicious new breads and some not delicious breads. Every night, the snack is our only happiness. For us, the snack is our only goal during our 1st study period. If there was no bakery, there would also no bread and no happiness.


  Did you enjoy watching KMLA's cafeteria? Do you want to come to this school and enjoy delicious meal? I'm strongly recommending you to come. The taste is really good, and also the system is good. For students, the cafeteria is one of the most important thins. If the cafeteria was bad, I think there would be no happiness in my school like.
So, I love the cafeteria!!

Dear 2-4 homeroom teacher

  Hello, Mr. Go! My name is Sung Ji Kim. You will be surprised to see my letter. I, of course have a purpose to write you a letter. I want our class rule to be changed. You know the punishment for late coming students. We have to pay money according to the time. Like, when we are late between 8:30 to 8:33, it's just 300 won, but after 8:33, we have to pay 500 won, 1000 won... like this. You may not understand why I'm telling this to you. You might just think I shouldn't be late. However, I have 3 reasonable reasons for requesting this change.

  First, is because I can't find any differences between before and after using a fine system. I think our class thinks it is not too strong punishment, because it's just easy to pay money. I also agree with it. I think money can't be the way to avoid our problems. We are also student, so we don't have ability to earn money. If you make other punishment that students don't want to do, I think students who are late coming will be decrease.

  Second, is because I think you are not using money in useful ways. For example, you can make a donation, or for school things like soap or tissues, not only ice cream or beverages. We like things to eat, but I think when my money is just being used for snacks, I really don't want pay, even if it's my fault and even it's the rule of class. There is the article that teenagers are making a donation with their money while they were paying when they come late. The total was 168,200 won. Daegu Jisan middle school 2-3 class students are paying 100 won when they are late, but also teacher is paying plus saving too. They said they feel happy to use their money to poor neighbors.

  Last, is that this punishment can never help us. Do you think we can get learn something by paying a fine? No, we don't. There are many ways that can help us. For instance, memorizing poem or wise sayings. Also, I think students will think this punishment is harder than just paying. So, the students who come late to school will be decrease for sure.

      Therefore, because of these three main reasonable reasons. I want you to really change our class punishment to late coming students. Please think about this! Thank you and bye~!

A rich guy

   
      On Sunday morning, Bob who is the son of Bishop wake up to leave Hawaii. He was there for 4 days to enjoy surfing. His father Bishop is the owner of a big global company “GATE”. Because of his father Bishop, he is living luxurious life. He has 5 servants for his own, he has tens of cars and he also has his own helicopter. He is now 18 years old, he doesn’t need to go to school, because his father Bishop already talked about Bob’s admission with Yourtown university which is the best in the world. His only friend is Carlos who is one of his servant. Carlos knew Bob for almost 15 years, because his father is servant of Bishop. They played a lot before, but not now. Bob is keep ignoring Carlos. Carlos doesn’t worry about it, and he is just doing his job silently. 

   Bob has an appointment with Ann who is the most capable magician. Bob’s the only hobby is magic. However, Bob always didn’t keep his appointment, so Ann is reallly angry about it. Bob learned magic about for 7 year, so he was pretty good at magic. Yet, he doesn’t know only one skill that is to change an object to other creatures or any other things. Actually, Ann is having trouble with it(to teach him that skill or not), because she thinks that he could use this skill to bad ways. Bob doesn’t know what is the skill about, so he wants to keep learning a magic until Ann teaches him that skill, I told you that Ann was angry about Bob, and also she knows many problems with Bob. Ann is almost like Bob’s mother, she decided to make Bob realize his problems by himself. Bob goes to the park to meet Ann. Bob is very excited meet Ann, especially today, because Ann said she will teach Bob the skill that Bob only doesn’t know! Ann is waiting for Bob with straight mind. Finally, Bob arrives at the park. His face is fulled of curiosity. Ann’s mind becomes heavier to face with Bob. “What is the skill that I only don’t know?!” Bob asked. “I will show you,” Ann answered. “ABRACADABRA!” She shouted to Bob, Bob said, “What are you doing now!!”, “Good luck!” Ann answered. Ann is taking a deep breathe. “Now, I hope just Bob has realized his problems”,and she returns to her car. 

  Bob is falling down about for 30 minutes. He is very surprised to see the new world. His anger disappears and some new emotion aroses that he never experienced before. The world looks so big. He is surrounding with happy mind. He didn’t know that he was an ant! He especially sees many ants. So he begins to doubt about himself. He eventually finds that he became an ant! His life changes in a sudden! He can’t believe the thing that happened to him. He swears that he will go to Ann and shout to her why she made him an ant. At that moment, herds of ants are carrying a big biscuit. Bob asks to one ant that is passing next to him. “What are you doing now?” The ant said, “ Why won’t you do nothing? We are preparing for the king, an also for the winter. Do you want to follow us?” “Sure!” Bob answered.

   
   Now, Bob is also carrying the biscuit. That was the first time Bob worked! So, many ants are laying out complains, “Why don’t you…!”, ”Just do it”, “Don’t do that!” like these kinds of complains. Bob is getting enormous stresses. He continued to tell to ants that he was a person, but because of the most capable magician in the world’s magic, he changed into the ant. However, ants are just ignoring his incredible thing. He also told the ants that he is very rich and he’s the son of the biggest company in the world. However, ants are still ignoring it. And also, if it is true, it really doesn’t matter to ants. So, Bob just give up to make ants to believe, he is only doing his works. Winter passed, and the summer came, Bob just forgets that he was a person, he is living like real “ants”. He also realizes many things while he was working so hardly. So now, he doesn’t have any feelings to Ann. He is appreciating to Ann, instead.


     One day, he is walking through the market and there is Ann!! Bob was surprised, so he climbs Ann’s foot, let and arm to reach until her ear. Ann was jumping and scratching, so Bob falls down over 10 times. However, because of Bob’s perseverance he could finally arrive at her ear. He shouts as big as he can. At first, Ann was just ignoring the sound, but time passed she recognized that it was Bob. So, she listens carefully what Bob is shouting. Bob is shouting like “Hey! I realized may things while I’m an ant! Thank you for making me like this!!”

"The Princess Bride"

   Do you know the movie " The Princess Bride"? Name of the movie seemed like a romance, so I had high expectation, because I like romance, and also I wanted to rest while watching a movie. However miss Angela told us that we have to write a movie review, so I thought I couldn't watch movie comfortably. " The Princess Bride" was the love story between Buttercup and Westley. They had to pass many stages to accomplish a true love. Rob Reiner is the director of this movie. When the movie started there was no subtitle, so I was confused, because it was the first time to watch movie without subtitle.

  The lights were off and the movie began. There were a boy and grand father. Grandfather was reading a book for his grandson, and the book was " The Princess Bride". There were Buttercup and her servant Westley, they fall in love. Westley left Buttercup and went to earn some money. Buttercup thought Westley was dead, so she had to marry with Humperdinck. She was kidnapped by Vizzini, Inigo, and Fezzik. However, Westley rescued her. He passed cliff of insanity, fire swamp, forest of thieves, and quick sand etc. Westley was caught by Humperdinck, and was killed by the torturer. Buttercup didn't know Westley died, so she asked Humperdinck if Westley come to their wedding she'll not gonna marry with Humperdinck. However Inigo and Fezzik brought some miracle medicine from Miracle Max, so they could make Westley alive. Inigo killed 6 fingered person and Westley and Buttercup could live happily ever after.

 
    During the movie, I was so bored, but I couldn't sleep because I had to write my movie review. Some parts were fun like Buttercup sinking in the quicksand or like Inigo repeating the same phrase to 6 fingered person. Others are not that interested, because I could guess the story and the stories are too unrealistic. Such as dead person alive by miracle medicine. However, teacher would show me it has a lesson. I think the main lesson about this movie was true love. Buttercup and Westley were too passionate to achieve their love. When I grow up, I want to meet the person who loves only me, and also to love that person. I learned at school that love needs passion, dedication and familiarity. I could exactly learn from this movie why those things are need to love. Also, I can learn some leadership from the movie characters. Westley had a leadership. He lead Buttercup to pass many dangerous places. This camp is leadership camp also, so learn leadership from Westley is not bad.

   When I was watching movie, I thought some of things like what I learned or how I feel while watching movie, but this time  was the first time to do like writing a movie review like this detail. I could know that writing a movie review is very good for learning things from movie, because while writing a movie review I can think many things about the movie and I can also arrange my thinking. The movie will last for a long time, so the time I watched movie was not wasted.
  

3 goals during GLPS

 Have you ever heard about "30-day challenge"? It is a challenge on anything you want. For me, I came to glps for 4 weeks, almost 30 days. So I will try to do a "30-day challenge". Matt Cutt had already finished his "30-day challenge". HE set what should he do and what he shouldn't. However, it's hard to do all of things during the camp, so I will just make 3 goals;

1) Solve math problems, about one chapter.
2) Write in my diary in detail.
3) Present my history presentation well.

 To achieve these goals in the next 30 days, I have to make it more systematic, so I will decide what steps I should follow. To solve math , about one chapter, I should solve 10 problems at least a day. During glps, I have a tone of thins to do, But math is also as important as English. Also, while solving problem perfectly, I should try to solve them by myself.

 Another goal is to write in my diary in detail. I'm a middle school student, and I never wrote a diary after I graduated elementary school. In glps, I have an opportunity to write my diary, so I want to write in various ways. For example, I can draw a picture, write poems, and also write novels. The most important thing of this goal is to not forget to write every day.

The last goal I have to achieve is to present well in my history presentation. I think I don't have many skills of presentation. I think I have to talk confidently when I'm in front of the class.

When I achieve all these goals, this camp will be more worthful than any other thing.

From now on, I want to explain you about me. My name is Kim Sung Ji, and I'm 15 years old. These are too basic things about me. So, I'll show you three words that are related to me.

3)wire

Guess what these words mean. First one is number 5. Can you think of anything from number 5? It means I want to grow 5cm more. Now I'm only 161 or 162cm, I want to grow until 165 or 166cm.

Second word that is related to me is white. Everybody will think my favorite color is white. But you're wrong. It means I want more white skin. I envy people who have white skin. I'm trying not to get a sunburn. However, my real skin was a little black, so I can't be more white than now.

 
 The last word is wire. You will be surprised how "wire" is related to me. "Wire" means that I had a wire to adjust my teeth. I started it to adjust snaggleteeth.


These are the words that I can use to represent myself. I think this is the first time I have introduced myself this way. I am interesting than a normal introduction. I hope many people could know many interesting things about me.
